Iphone X: Record video using bluetooth mic audio

Don't say this is impossible because it worked in the past. At present I can not get my iPhone X to record video with audio from a blue tooth mic input from the mpow Bluetooth headset. Both the phone and headset indicate they are connected. Not a pairing problem.

Is there some way to select which mic is used? Or some sort of audio selector utility or app?
