The listing had the following in it: Factory: FD (Foxcon, Refurbished? (in the USA??))
I just received a iPhone 8 Plus, hope this is a mistake stating Refurbished?
The Factory is supposed to be in Zhengzhou China ? (By the serial #)
The next is a, D. No clue found on line?

Wanted to not doubt the iPhone 8 Plus was new and not a US refurbished one!
Had it turned out to be " not kosher " so to speak it ,would be unpleasant for the store that sold it !!
Computer I always have checked out the serial number but never a iPhone this is the first time.
