I had deleted my Bootcamp partition before I reset my startup disk for Mac OS. On computer start up, I get the "No bootable device -- insert boot disk and press any key" message. I have tried suggests like hold down the option key during start up, and hold down command-R during start up. The system ignores that I have the buttons down and presents me with the above message every time.
Reboot and hold Command+Opt+R. Do you see a Recovery Console? If yes, click on Utilities -> Terminal, and run
gpt -vv -r show /dev/disk0
Select and Copy (Command+C) the output, quit Terminal, start Safari (Get Help Online) and Paste (Command+V) the output as a reply to this discussion. You can switch back to Terminal by quitting Safari.

Can you reboot and hold Shift+Command+Opt+R?
Run a NVRAM Reset and and try to hold Alt/Option at key at boot up.
Do you have any external storage connected to your iMac?
When I turn on the Mac I get the chime I, my RGB keyboard turns on and I press the key combo, keyboard turns off then back on, repress the key combo and the screen looks like an old tv turning off where everything turns black and there’s a white streak. Then the boot message comes up. (Keep in mind the whole time while I’m doing this there’s no apple logo popping up, the screen turns white it chimes and then turns to the message.
Tried resetting the NVRAM by pressing Cmd, Option, R, and P. Didn’t work.
I understand I wiped the whole hardrive and removed the partition I’m asking for help to do it. I don’t have an optical drive either

You removed the boot camp partition. Therefore, Windows no longer exists on the machine. You are being asked to insert a Windows installer disc into your optical drive.
