How do I create a Mac.com email address?
When I purchased my Apple products years ago, I registered using my gmail address. I'd like to change that to a Mac.com address, though keep my gmail as an extra email account.

It's no longer possible to create @mac.com addresses, only @icloud.com addresses. You can change your Apple ID to your @icloud.com main address (assuming you already have an iCloud account, if not you can create one) or if you have been a member going back to DotMac and already have the @mac.com version, to that.
