Notes have disappeared from my MacBook Pro & I didn't have enough storage on my icloud

I was working offline and I stored very important notes on Notes app, and I forgot I don't have storage on my iCloud. When I reached in the office the next day, my computer got online automatically and a message kept popping up reminding me I don't have enough storage. So I decided to go to the System Preferences and unchecked Notes in the iCloud items list. When I went back to my Notes after doing that, I noticed that all my newly created notes have disappeared.

Those notes are very important for me. Please, any help will be highly appreciate.
