Does anyone know how to block that annoying “you have won a $100 Amazon gift card” ad from coming up on Safari on my iPhone 7? Today it froze my browser. Thank you.
That link will not work for the Amazon notices, they are javascript hijacks not really pop-ups. You have gone to a website that was invected and it placed it on your iPhone.
Open your recently used apps and close Safari.
Go to Settings > Safari and erase the history.
Restart your iPhone.
If that does not work go to the app store and look for an ad blocker that says they work with javascript hijacks.
