Question

iCloud completely stuck on uploading items

My iCloud Drive stuck on sync and I don't know how fix this. I've tried anything, moving files in and out, disable/enable iCloud services, clearing iCloud cache with stopping bird process. Now I've removed any files from my iCloud Drive from Docs and Desktop from my Mac and from iCloud on iCloud.com and tried to create some using pages and it stuck even on sync that single file.

If someone knows how to fix this thing I will be very happy, because I spent over 2 month paying for iCloud Drive that just doesn't work at all, any single file wasn't synced during that period. And I can't write to the apple support because it isn't available there.

Have you tried restarting the computer and trying again?

I've commented few minutes ago regarding facing the same issue of "iCloud sync stuck", which displays the message when clicked on the iCloud Drive icon "Uploading 1 item" whenever I update the files on my filesystem - iCloud Drive.

Well, I've noticed one thing that the file uploads/updates on to the iCloud Drive. To verify this, I logged in to my iCloud to see if the file was updated/uploaded or not. It did!

I think there's a bug in Mac OS Mojave Finder interface. iCloud uploads the data but Finder fails to recognize it.

I hope Apple resolves this in the upcoming system update(s).

Apple doesn’t routinely monitor the discussions. These are mostly user to user discussions.

Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem or a suggestion for change. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem/suggested change solved sooner.

Having the same problem in 2 MacBook Air after install Mojave.. Probably it's a error inside the OS. Called Apple Support they didn't know what's happening, waiting for a reply... if you could upload and download iCloud Drive please let us know..

I've the same issue. It's started to occur ever since I upgraded my Mac to Mac OS Mojave. I hope Apple resolves this via upcoming updates.

Try seeing if it will upload in the Safe Mode.
