macbook pro 13" 2018 random freeze

I have had a Macbook Air 2018 Retina model for over a month. The computer is beginning to freeze. Only way to unfreeze is to turn it off by pressing the finger print button. I have upgraded the software to OS 10.14.4. Other than the USB-C cable connected for charging, nothing else is connected. As it turns out, I am not the only person running into this problem. It is 2019 and this is still happening?

I have the same issue still on my MBP 2018 13" even after the latest update, i think the audio bug is fixed but not the freeze crashing

I got my new MacBook Pro 13 512 ssd 16 ram core i5 2 weeks ago and my Mac freeze why? I was on safari and my computer suddenly freeze my trackpad doesn't responding

Same issue here. Only listening to iTunes and browsing with chrome. No peripherals connected. It happens at least once each day.

I agree.... hopefully someone at Apple is listening to us!

Same problem here, Macbook pro 2018 13", froze at least 3 times, the last one while watching a video with VLC. Looking forward to the problem being addressed.

I have same issue too. I bought MBP2018 13" week ago and it been frozen 2 times.
Apps was opened: VSCode, Google Chrome, Slack, Skype, iTerm2, Finder, Sublime3.

I got the same issue. Really ***** spending 2.300 $ on a laptop with random freezes. Apple should really fix it!

Same here! vlc is the only app running and then the macbook pro 13" 2018 freeze.. 3 weeks old. happened two times over the last week. what to do? 😟

Exact same here. 3 freezes and hard restart in 3 weeks on my recently purchased 13" MBP. Usual apps open: Finder, Firefox, Notes, Sketch, InDesign, Slack...

oh yeah, I've seen these but they are for Mojave right? I'm still running on HighSierra.

I too am having the same issue. Brand new MacBook Pro 13inch. Has frozen 3 times.. .completely unresponsive. Glad to hear I am not the only one.

Can you share maybe the article? If the article explains a way to reproduce the problem it would be actually golden.
