My AirPods case turned yellow just after a few months. Looks like 20-year old plastic. Is it just mine?

I remember first noticing mine turning yellow when I was in class, nothing extreme but it was sort of noticeable if you actually took the time to look. I ended up just rubbing the yellow out with some eraser I had on my desk and it worked out perfectly. I did however wear out the plastic a little bit (cuz I was a little rough) but I’m sure if you take your time with it and are careful it’ll come off. Once again mine had minimal coloration so it was easy to remove....

Hi
Have you left them in a window or direct Sunlight?
Cheers

Giame,
I have a similar problem with my AirPods case. I do not believe it is the clothing you wear or anything like that. I use my AirPods everyday in the gym (and I go twice a day). My belief is that having the case in my pocket when it’s a little sweaty may cause the discoloration.
Not sure how to solve this but that’s my two cents.

No. They are almost always in my pants pocket with nothing else.
giame,
Mine are just fine.
Have yours been out in the sun or otherwise exposed to environmental hazards?
I don't think so, definitely not for a long time.
But if sunlight is the culprit, do you know if that's correctable? I'm afraid to use random cleaners, chemicals on it.
