Facebook timeline issue with Safari.

Facebook timeline issue with Safari. Using 10.13.6 and Safari. When scrolling down my newsfeed and I come to a post with a "View More Comments" button, if I click on it, my newsfeed goes back to the beginning! This can be kind of frustrating if I have scrolled down for awhile. This happens once per session, after it does it, it won’t happen again until I close and reopen FB. It also will do it on another Mac which is 10.13.3 High Sierra. Have taken out all extensions and rebooted.

Clear the history: menu bar > Safari > erase history
Clear the cache: Safari > Preferences, click the Advanced icon, put a tick alongside Show Developer Menu in Menu Bar.

A new Developer menu option appears to the left of the Window and Help menu options. Select Empty Caches on the Develop menu.

3. Clear website data: Safari > Preferences > Privacy icon, click the 'Manage Website Data...' button. Click "remove all"

4. Restart your mac.

Rats, it worked for awhile then started doing it again! Cleared Caches, History and no Extensions. I'm lost on this one. It's interesting that clearing the caches and history worked for awhile. Doesn't do it on my MacBookPro though, just on my desktop Mac Mini and my iMac at work.

Thanks! That seems to have done the trick. I scrolled and clicked with abandon and the timeline stayed put!
