iPhone receiver/speaker not working

I have an iPhone 6 Plus. My receiver/speaker is not working when I try making or receiving calls, record videos, talk to Siri, record voice memos, FaceTime, etc. I can’t even hear static when trying to make calls, it is completely silent, and when I try to FaceTime it says “call failed”. When watching videos or listening to voicemails, the sound works just fine. I have tried restoring to factory settings, turning off Bluetooth, turning off/on the sound button on the side, using headphones, restarting my phone, and updating to the most current OS, but nothing has worked. Has anyone else had this issue, and if so, how did you fix it?

Hi! I have an iPhone 7 and I got the same issue! I went to the apple store and they were not able to help me. They said that I had to pay $319 for a new phone because they were not going to repair it. Then I called and was on the phone with apple care for over 2 hours. They ran diagnostics, made me restore the phone 2 times, tried pretty much everything but the issue persists.

I am very disappointed in apple. My phone is not even 2 years old, does not have a single scratch, it has been diligently updated to the latest iOS version, and still they are not able to have my back for an issue that is clearly their fault.

I hope someone on apple sees all of the complaints related to this same issue and does something about it.
