Other very cheap option is just to slap a screen protector over the entire cracked screen to keep it from cracking more and to prevent getting cut and to “smooth over” the screen.
If using an Apple Pencil with that iPad Pro, I wouldn't recommend using a glass screen protector, but using a thin filmed screen protector, but in your case, you may want to go with another glass layer of screen protection.
Get the thinnest glsss screen protector that is made to try and minimise issues with the Apple Pencil, if the Pencil is still working properly with this screen damaged iPad Pro.

Your options are limited.
Free, one-year limited AppleCare does not cover accidental damage.
Paid two-year AppleCare+ covers one incidental or accidental damage per year with a $49 U.S.D. replacement iPad fee.
If no warranty, Apple can repair your screen by sending it back to Apple headquarters, in CA., for repairs or replace your iPad entirely for an out-of-warranty cost that both alternatives are pretty much the same cost.
It will be approx. 60% of the iPad’s original purchase price for either a repair or replacement iPad.
If these costs are too expensive for you and you decide to seek out a cheaper repair service, just know that Apple will be no longer responsible for that iPad and will no longer support ANY services on it.
Good Luck to You!
Another option maybe to see what is in Apple’s online refurbished section/store for purchase of a replacement iPad Pro models or consider the purchase of the new 2018, 6th gen 9.7 inch screen iPad, which has support for the Apple Pencil.
The hardware in the 2018, 6th gen iPad is not premium, but gets you a cheaper priced iPad, even for a 128 GBs storage model, and is cheaper than the out-of-warranty repair/repacement of your iPad Pro, unless you really like your large screen iPad Pro.
That is why I recommended looking for discounts, either on the older 12.9, 1st gen iPad Pro models or discounts on the 10.5 inch screen iPad Pro models.
The costs of these refurbished models will be much closer to the out-of-warranty costs to repair/replace that large screen iPad Pro model.
Good Luck to You!
You can take it to repair shops which does them. Or maybe it's time to slap a screen protector on (the tempered glass/9H ones).
