Logic Studio Pro 9 vs. Logic Pro X

Hi everyone,

I have the Logic Studio Pro 9 installed on my MacBook Pro 2009. Now the study-software-package of my new MacBook Pro 2018 includes Logic Pro X. The Logic Studio Pro 9 has a much larger loop library.

What to do?

Install Studio Pro 9 on my new MacBook?

or

Start using Pro X on my new MacBook?

and

Can I then still use the Studio Pro 9 libraries by copying them to the Pro X Apple Loops folder?

Thank you!

Logic Pro X, macOS High Sierra (10.13.6)

Hi

In LPX, go to

Logic Pro X > Sound Library> Open Sound Library Manager

Make sure you have downloaded all the content, including the Legacy and Compatibility content.

That should give you all the LP9 content.
