Garageband editor vertical zoom

The editor has somehow zoomed in vertically. I don't know how this happened and I can't find a way to zoom out again. Is there a shortcut because there doesn't seem to be any visual control, only horizontal zoom.

MacBook Pro TouchBar and Touch ID, macOS High Sierra (10.13.6)

Do you mean the size of the editor panel for virtual instruments in the piano roll view?

It seems to be a new feature of GarageBand 10.3.1. If you open a project created with an earlier version of GarageBand, the zoom will be back to normal. If you have an older project, save it and start new projects by duplicating this project. There seems to be no other fix right now.

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately it doesn't really answer my question. Up until now the vertical zoom level in the editor pane has always stayed the same. Suddenly, whilst working on a project, the editor appeared zoomed in. The keyboard on the left had wider (thicker) keys as did the piano roll notes. I don't know what I did to achieve this but I was checking out some of the keys on my laptop because one of them was sticking and then suddenly the zoom had happened.
