Remote viewing support

I live in NY. My elderly parents (91 and 99) live in CT. We use Facetime all the time but sometimes I need to “see” what they see so I can help them navigate. Is there an app I can use for remote viewing only? I don’t need take control of their iPad. My parents have an iPad AiR. I generally use my iPhone 8. Both currently running on OS 11.

Remote control/support of iphone for elderly relative I have seen that there is nothing built in that would allow me to control or see my mum's iphone (we are not local and Teamviewer has been a lifesaver for her laptop) but can anyone recommend an app? She tends to panic at simple issues and if I can just see what the phone is doing, that should allow me to sort it. Thanks!

Remote viewing an iPhone screen I have volunteered to help retired seniors learn/deal with their new Apple devices: iPhones, iPads, and Mac computers I use an iMac: Oct 2015, 27” 5K display, External OWC SSD, OS 11.4 and an iPhone Xs Max running iOS 14.6. In Zoom sessions, sharing the screens of seniors, I have been able to have some of them attach their iPhones to their Macs, launch QuickTime, mouse over to the tiny arrow in the right side of the ensuing window, mouse down and select their iPhone, click on it, and be able to view their iPhone on my Mac and guide them through what needs to be done on their iPhones or iPads. I recently could not do this with a lady with a Mac Mini and a new iPhone. The iPhone is running iOS 14.X and the Mini is running Catalina. When we could not get this to work, I opened a new Finder window on her Mini, and the iPhone did not appear in the sidebar, which is weird. Restarts of both devices did not fix the problem. Another lady with whom I had the same problem went to the Apple store and reported " I went to the Apple Store and they put my iPhone back on my Mac" but I know she will never be able to explain what they did to fix the problem. Can anyone suggest fixes to try when this happens?

Remote Control an iPad for my Mom My mother lives in an Assisted Living facility. In the last 6 months, I've seen her only 3 time for a total of 90 minutes. They are not allowed to have visitors due to the pandemic. Needless to say, this has been very difficult for my mother. Mom has some short term memory issues and is not great with technology. She has an iPad, but the best we can do is FaceTime. No surprise, there are lots of other things she could be doing with it. Is there a way I can "remote control" her iPad? If I could connect to her iPad from my iPad or MacBook, I could start Netflix, start a game, start Safari or just general help. With very little human interaction, every bit of stimulation helps. In the PC support world, there are remote control products to provide remote support for users. Is there something like this for mobile devices, iPads specifically? Thanks.
