Cannot remove all website data from Safari on iMac

I have an iMac running High Sierra ver. 10.13.6 and I am using Safari ver. 11.1.2 and when I go to Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data > Remove All, I can get all but 24 or 25 items to delete. I have closed the browser and reopened it and gone through the steps again with the same result. Does anyone have a solution? Thanks!

Hi liberAlan

First One

To delete cache:

> Go to Preferences in Safari

> Advanced Tab

> Activate Developer Menu

> Go to Develop in the menu bar

> Empty Caches

Manage Website Data:

> Go to Preferences in Safari

> Privacy Tab

> Manage Website Data

> Select and Remove or Remove all.

History:

> Safari in the menu bar

> Clear History

> Select all

If it does not work try this:

Quit Safari.

In Finder go to Go menu and then Go to Folder.

Copy and paste this ~/Library/Safari/Databases.

Delete the contents of the folder.

Launch Safari again and check if all is ok.

If that doesn’t work, copy and paste this ~/Library/Safari/LocalStorage.

Delete the contents of the folder.

Then go to Safari/History and delete any entries for the related websites.

Test.

Thanks
