Do apple cover a cracked screen. Iphone 8
My iPhone 8 has a crack in it and was wondering if apple covered it under warranty. Hairline crack.
Screen damage if determined by Apple to be accidental is not covered by the regular warranty. If you have Applecare Plus you get two accidental damages/incidents for the life of the warranty at reduced cost.

Cost will also depend upon service availability and your country. If you have to take it to a third party Apple Authorized place I believe they can set their own price. If you paid for the phone with a credit card you can check if there is any coverage offered by the card company as part of using the card to make the purchase.
