Sony BD RMT-B127P Internet Fails through iPhone X Hotspot

My Sony Bluray player refuses to connect to the Internet when I try to connect to it directly using WiFi hotspot on my iPhone X. It connects ok but fails on the Internet connection.

If I share the Internet connection through my MacBook Pro (via USB to WiFi), it connects and works fine.

My SSID is very basic, no weird extra characters, just plain simple (dallasiphone).

Any ideas ?

The blue banner around the time just sadly flashes a few times like it’s getting so close, but fails. I tried everything on that link you reply to everyone with that has this issue and it did nothing so what else can I do?? Trying to connect via wifi fyi.

personal hotspot won't connect to internet I can connect my MacBook Air to personal hotspot with my iPhone 11 but it will not connect to internet. It used to work fine now it doesn't. I've run all the diagnostic scans I can think of and updated all systems. Any suggestions?

Hotspot failed to connect I haven’t been able to connect my MacBook Pro to my iPhone 14 Pro’s hotspot yet. I get “Failed to enable Personal Hotspot” when I try, the hotspot is turned on in my phone settings though. Has anyone else encountered this? Any advice?
