I recently purchased the iMac pro have waited so long for the Mac Pro to be updated!! now I notice that when the iMac goes to sleep it ejects all my hard drives, I'm worried that this might cause problems with the drives??
does anyone have a solution for this? Ive tried the "energy Saving" put harddrives to sleep option, however the same happened...

Hi I had the same issue but apple advised me to contact Promise as I was using Promise T3 utility softwire which was causing this issue.
Promise confirmed the same and sent me the new beta version and it resolved the issue.
Are you using any Promise utility software ?
Maybe you should try the Contact Support link at top right of this page. You should have free telephone support for your new Mac.

A similar problem in this thread Macbook Pro ejecting external disks
where disabling Power Nap is recommended. No indication if it worked.

So I contacted Support and they recommended 3 options
1:Reset SMC
2:Restart in safe mode
3:Create a new Admin user
I reset the SMC and so far so good! lets see how it goes.
