how to delete imported photos in macbook

i imported a lot photo from my ex and then we broke up , i want to delete it

but i cant , i already try bunch instruction but it didn't work

i try command+D but it didn't work

i'm using macOS version 10.13.6

MacBook Air, macOS High Sierra (10.13.6)

⌘-D will duplicate the photo in Photos and not delete it.

Try command-delete (⌘⌫) to delete a photo. This will move the selected photos to the Recently Deleted album, and there you can delete them finally.


You can also ctrl-click or right-click selected photos in an album or the moments and then use the command Edit > Delete ... Photos.
