Kernel panic help

I have a Macbook Pro (13-inch, 2017, Two Thunderbolt 3 ports), purchased a little over 2 months ago and a few times over the last few days it has unexpectedly (and suddenly) restarted because of kernel panics. This is a little over my head, so I'm looking for some direction on how to fix the problem. Here is the report:

I took it to the Genius Bar and the guy I spoke to thought it was the graphics card. I'm pretty sure this model doesn't have a graphics card (if I remember correctly, it is not its own entity, I could be misremembering that though), so that didn't inspire a ton of confidence. Regardless, they sent it off for evaluation since it's under warranty. They replaced the hard drive. I'm not sure why, perhaps just to seem like they did something to address the issue? Regardless, within a few hours of resyncing everything from my external hard drive, it did it again. I started digging in and doing some more research but was fully prepared to go back and raise ****. Thinking back, every time it happened, I was using Chrome, which I originally thought was just a coincidence because that's the application in use most often. However, I found a post on this forum (Kernel Panic from GPU Driver High Sierra MacBook Pro 2017) that advised changing a setting in Chrome. So far so good.

Sorry! I wasn't sure what all was needed. Here it is:

Thanks. The first step of any diagnostic involving panic reports is to eliminate any 3rd party interference.

To that end, you will need to uninstall your antivirus. Make sure to use the proper uninstaller. You can't remove this software by dragging anything to the trash. Don't try to manually delete any files in hidden directories either. Never use an "app zapper".

This is not a comment on the relative merits of Mac antivirus software. Your machine is still under warranty. Kernel panics can often indicate a hardware problem. You want to be sure if it truly is a hardware problem. Otherwise, you could send it in, get your logic board replaced with a refurbished part, and still have the same issue because you are still running the same software.

If you remove the antivirus software and never have another panic, then the problem is solved. Your machine is fine. If you still want to run 3rd party antivirus software, then maybe you could post a new question here in the forums and ask for recommendations. Then can we return to the old debate about the relative merits of Mac antivirus software. There is little risk to you since the macOS operating system already includes multiple layers of malware protection.

It is also possible that you could have more kernel panics. If that happens, and you don't have any 3rd party kernel extensions, then you can get your machine fixed while it is still under warranty. And we can still have the Mac antivirus software debate if you want. 😁

Thanks. I suspected it could possibly be my antivirus software (Avast). I've never been completely happy with any of the different ones I've tried while using Macs for almost 15 years. Here's hoping that's the fix! I'll do some delving into the forum to see what conclusions others have come to about antivirus software once it seems that my problem is gone.

I uninstalled my antivirus software and it happened again. Here's the latest report:

I don't think it's a hardware failure. There are countless posts about this exact same kernel panic. This feels to be as a bug in the GPU driver (or related). Although it is possible that a recent change to the GPU driver has revealed a fault in the hardware. Apple only knows and I'm a bit depressed that I have seen no comment from them.
