iPlayer has no sound on live only, previous shows play OK.

I listen to live BBC Radio iPlayer every day, but today there was no sound. Yet if I select a previously aired item it plays no problem? I run Mac OS High Sierra Version 10.13.6.

iMac, Mac OS X (10.5.3), Leopard
