IPhone 6 music not shuffling

IOS 11.4.1 no longer AUTOMATICALLY shuffling since recent update. Why on earth would we want to manually shuffle every song? Soooo frustrating.

Help please!

Alright, that helps. Now pick a song and at the bottom of the screen press the name of the song. You should get to the screenshot I sent previously. Once you get there, scroll down until you see the shuffle icon. To the right, is the repeat button.

Thanks for your reply. I only have a ‘play’ or ‘shuffle’ option, not a repeat option. I’ve tried making a new playlist. No matter what I listen to - albums, songs or playlists, the one song plays over and over.

As I said this has only happened since the latest update last week.

You can put the songs you want to listen to in an album, put is on repeat (not repeat song), and press the shuffle button.

Here’s a clearer shot showing my choices - play or shuffle - but all that happens is a continuous play of one song.
