How can I "Use all function keys as standard keys"

I have recently updated to High Sierra 10.13.6 and, although I once could use the function keys without activating another function, I can no longer do that as the option is missing. I am using a Logitech K750 wireless keyboard. Specifically I want to use the F3 key without activating control center.

How to use F1, F2, etc. keys on Satechi keyboards without pressing fn key I love my Satechi X3 Bluetooth Backlit Keyboard. However, in either USB or Bluetooth mode, System Preferences > Keyboard > Keyboard doesn't show the option "Use F1, F2, etc. keys as standard function keys.". Only when I use Apple's OEM keyboards, this option appears. However, if I press the fn and esc keys on the Satechi keyboard, this option is enabled. No utilities are needed. Pressing this key combination again disables the option. I suspect that it would work with other third-party keyboards as well.

F keys on my newest Apple wireless keyboard do not respond I can't find instructions on function controls for my new Apple Wireless Keyboard, I can't change the volume. Running Cataline, because my iMac is just a scooch too old for High Sierra.

You can't. I just got a K750 myself. There's no option in preferences because you can't switch.

Just to add, if you hold the "fn" key you can trigger F1-F15.

Hold the 'fn' key while pressing on any or the F1-12 keys. That should work
