Reduce photo resolution

How do you reduce resolution when sending emails. On iphone 6 you use to have a pop up window to select resolution prior to sending emails. Does iphone 8 have the same function if so how do you set it. When you take photos each photo is at 2mb i cant have that as i send multiple photos for work i need to reduce it at least 500kb or to no more than a 1mb like the iphone 6 please help cheers

Downloaded images off of gmail poor resolution Hello, just wondering if anyone knows how to fix this. I just got an iPhone 12 max. My husband edits photos on light room, and exports them at the right settings and quality for Instagram and then sends them to me via gmail. From there I just download the photos onto my phone and then upload them to Instagram. Every time I did this using my previous iPhone 8 the quality of the photos were fine and not degraded. Now when doing this on my iPhone 12 max the photos have lost some quality, and look noisy and blurry. We are not doing anything different in our process and don’t know what is goi wrong. If anyone knows about this or how to fix it that would be much appreciated. Thanks!
