Can't use imessage or FaceTime on MacAir

I just bought a new MacBook Air (macOS High Sierra version 10.13.6), I signed in with my iCloud and everything looks fine. But, for some reason, my iMessage and FaceTime don't sign in. It says that an error occurred during activiation and that it couldn't sign in.

Read this article for troubleshooting suggestions: If you get an error when trying to activate iMessage or FaceTime - Apple Support


Also, check this first: go to Settings > General > Date & Time and make sure that your time zone is set correctly.
