Ok maybe I can help you, fondan. Yes, you do need an Apple ID--eventually, but to reinstall OS X, you need your user name and password, which you can get from OS X Tools as you re-install OS X. Boot up from the recovery partition (command+ r keys held down on Mac reboot), you should get to a language screen, pick your language of choice, then Continue, then go up to the top middle of your screen using your mouse -usb mice and keyboards work well for this, wireless ones, not so much. And now you should see OS X Tools. Go to terminal. open it, you should see a white screen with black letters. type in "resetpassword" without the quotes, and press the Return key, it should now take you into the Password reset app, and here you can reset your admin/system password and username. after you have done that, quit that app, then you should be able to re-install os X from the recovery partition. You should also have an Ethernet cable plugged into your Mac. You can do it over wifi only, but it'll be very very slow. Afterwards, it'll say "Setting up your Mac", then it'll ask you for your Apple ID, which is usually your email address, at least it is on mine, and then your password. If you can't remember it, click on "I forgot" and then go through the steps of resetting your Apple ID. Just a word though-apple has a new system for that in place which involves a 6 digit passcode, kinda like the ones found on your iPad, iPhone, etc. You will need that passcode. Luckily, you have have a phone number or email address associated with your Apple ID, and you can get Apple to call you, text you, or email you the passcode as many times as you need to. it's different each time though. Beats the old way of trying to guess your Apple ID about 5 times, getting locked out, and having to pick a new ID and password for that, which couldn't be anything like your old one. progress, I guess ? Oh-and the other word is that you are running Lion (10.7.5) which is not really available unless you downloaded it before from the App store previously. After you reset your Apple ID, you can use it to login in the App store, check under receipts or Purchases and it should be there. If not, your two choices are El Capitan or High Sierra, depending on which your Macbook will qualify for- I should clarify- it's kinda confusing. Both have certain requirements, and if your MacBook pro meets the requirements for High Sierra, then that's what you can download, but if not, then you can get El Capitan. Anything other than that, if you didn't "buy" it already through the App store, is gone for good. that's all I got

good luck and let us know how it turns out
