Safari continually redirects me from yahoo to a page that says “
You've been randomly selected to test the new iPhone 9 (coming in 2018)!”
i turned my ipad off and on and cleared all of my safari data and history. Nevertheless, this problem won’t go away.
Does anyone know how to get rid of this annoying redirect?

Thanks. It’s probably helpful to give you some more background. Typically when this happens I am on finance.yahoo.com reading news headlines. I tried blocking the url but the redirect comes back with a different url.

Someone paid for that ads on yahoo finance. One way to stop it is to stop visiting yahoo finance until Yahoo fixes the problem.
Block Pop Ups On in settings? Instead of going to yahoo, try stay with Safari see what happens.
For what it‘s worth, I though I’d post an image of the redirect. I only get this problem on my iPad, I also have an iPhone and MacBoo.
Tap Settings > Safari then swipe down and tap Advanced then make sure JavaScript is disabled.
Then restart your iPad.
JavaScript is disabled.
