What is the key command for the curved arrow in messages after an autocorrect?

When I'm typing in messages on my macbook autocorrect often changes something I typed correctly. When I backspace to the word I get a hint with a curved arrow and what I actually typed. But I can never figure out what the key command is to tell it to revert to the originally typed word. Any ideas?

MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2017), iOS 11.4.1

No, it doesn't.

Try this After you've got the overlay with the previous, uncorrected spelling, you can press the down arrow key, then Return/Enter. This accepts the selected, uncorrected spelling.

Alternative:

Having auto correct, sometimes to write a word spelled incorrectly

Pressing 'Space Bar' will correct your word.

If you press 'UP' arrow, it will cancel auto-correct.

If you press 'Down' it will let you cycle the choices, then hit 'Space Bar' when you've selected the word you want.

You can also try using the Escape Key
