I can not install my printer since the update to 10.13.6

I have a Dell 1135N mono laserjet multifunctional printer that worked for a few years now.

Since i reinstalled my Mac Mini ( late 2012 ) with MacOS 10.13.6 i have the problem that i can not install this printer anymore.

In downloaded the drivers from the Dell website and started the installation wizard and finished that without any error messages. The the end of the installer it asked me to reboot my system to make to finish the installation of the driver.

I did the reboot and after that i checked if the printer is installed in Printers & Scanners. But it is not.

So, i clicked the + icon to add the printer manually, but there is no driver that is working for the printer.

Is there anyone with the same issue, or an issue that looks and sounds like this, and can tell me how to solve this?

I use the following specifications :

Mac mini (Late 2012)

2,5 GHz Intel Core i5

8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

MacOS version 10.13.6

I have a Dell 1135n printer connected via the USB port.
