find my iPhone on my mac is missing map data.

Tried using my Mac to find my iPhone. The device icon is displayed but the map data, (streets, roads, etc.) is missing. Just blue dots on a blank screen. I tried it in both Safari and Chrome, same results.

MacBook, macOS High Sierra (10.13.2)

I understand from your post that when viewing Find My iPhone from Safari or Chrome, the map does not load and only shows blue dots on a white screen. I recommend testing the issue while your Mac is in safe mode and/or in a new user account.
