iPhone 8 Plus dropping calls

iPhone 8 Plus has suddenly started dropping calls. iOS 11.4. Powered off. Removed SIM card. Went in and out of airplane mode. Changed cellular to data only. Have not reset network settings yet.

I am having the same problem as the original poster. I got a new iPhone 8 on July 9, 2018 and have ATT Cellular service. I've had ATT for 12 years and numerous iPhones, 4, 6, now the 8. I've never had trouble with dropped calls, low cell signal, muffled calls, sounding like I'm in a tunnel or tin can, echoing either on my end or the other person's end, having the person I've called hear a few words, then not hear a few words, then hear a few words. ATT has changed the Sim card, I've tried using wi-fi calling at home, turned on blue tooth, put phone in airplane mode - nothing helps. The only variable in my life is a new iPhone. None of my neighbors (ATT or Verizon) or having problems, no towers are down. My friends and family are frustrated because they cannot have a clear conversation with me and I'm frustrated because I'm paying for a phone which doesn't seem to hold more than 2 or 3 bars, doesn't seem to hold my wi-fi signal consistently and most importantly I'm not able to make a phone call from my home, my car or anywhere without a lousy connection. I'm hoping that Apple will replace the phone.
