Crackling audio when running Windows 10 through Bootcamp
As the title suggests I'm experiencing horrible audio echoing/crackling when playing any game on Windows 10 on my 2018 MacBook Pro. Anyone else having this issue?

I also experiencing the crackling sounds on my MacBook pro 2018 while running bootcamp.
I try to reset the smc, seems the issue solved.
I think you can try to reset the smc of your MacBook Pro ,the issue should be solved.
I recommend not using the built-in speakers till the driver gets fixed. This harkens back to Install Audio Driver Update for Boot Camp to avoid issues with 2016 MacBook Pro speakers - Apple Support .

Yes, and this is not the first time. 😉
Use BT or wired speakers, to avoid unnecessary replacement trips to the Apple Store or an AASP.
SMC Reset may temporarily resolve the issue, but it comes back.

I think that's an incredibly stupid assumption to make. With a base level regular MacBook or MacBook Air I would agree but with a maxed out MacBook Pro I'd bet nearly 50% bootcamp.
Call Apple Care and mention Windows, and in >95% cases, you will be referred to Microsoft. 😉 I can ask ASC hosts, if they track BC discussions as a percentage of the overall traffic on ASC, which should be a reflection of such crossovers. If you are buying Macs to just run Windows, there are better options.
Ughh so we're stuck waiting for a fix :(
Thanks though.
I have the same problems with two MacBook Pro 15 "2018

Unfortunately most people don't pack external speakers into their laptop bag lol.
Stick to macOS, if possible.
You should learn from mistakes, but Apple did not understand that ... I sent mine back. Are the devices since 2016 not even tested by Apple?!?
Yes, they are, but primary effort is on the macOS side, not Windows. The BC/Windows/Mac users are a very small population of the overall market.

Nobody said to just run Windows. You're really bad at comprehending.
