Photos App Crashes When Looking At Specific Face.

Hello,

Recently, I was viewing my photos in Photos, and when I tried to categorize photos and add people to the Faces page, I noticed that when I clicked on a specific person, it crashed. I tried this multiple times, and each time, it only crashed on the same person. I have tried to move them out of the Faces library and restart, but I have been unable to do so. Does anyone know how I should try to solve this problem? I could try to export, delete, and then import my entire library, but as I would lose Live Photos and Slo-Motion videos in their current state, I'd like to avoid it, if at all possible.

MacBook, macOS High Sierra (10.13.6)

Have you already tried to repair your Photos Library?

Before following any of these steps, it's a good idea to create a backup of your photo library. ....

The Photos repair tool analyzes the library's database and repairs any inconsistencies it detects. Depending on the size of your library, this might take some time. When the process is complete, Photos opens your library.

Follow these steps to use the Photos repair tool:

  1. Make sure that you've backed up your main Photos library.
  2. Quit Photos if it's open.
  3. Press and hold the Option and Command keys as you open Photos again.
  4. The Repair Library dialog appears. Click Repair, and then enter an administrator password to begin running the Photos repair tool.

If you're using iCloud Photo Library, running the Photos repair tool will cause your library to re-update with iCloud.
