Have seen online that this has been solved. Solution please? Have tried many options (delete account of person who's text always gives me error message, just enter the phone #) plus other options.
happened when I went from Verizon to cricket on one number. So annoying
Have you gone to settings>general>reset>reset network settings?
It sounds like a problem with the contact. Have you deleted that contact and the added them again to see if that helps?
Does that person have you blocked?

I did before and just did it again. No it did not solve the problem 😢
I’ve done that several times along with other things but it still gives me the error code
No she is a friend of mine I can call her no problem it’s just the texting that somehow pulls up an old remembered number without the area code
