I can't add my Costco Citi card to Apple Pay

Same problem here for almost two years. Citi customer service representative are useless and Apple don’t seem to care. Is the only card I don’t have in my Apple Pay wallet and don’t know even the reason why I can’t added. This is such a pain!

I have tried both(citi card app and apple pay wallet) get the same error always no matter what.

Same problem. Good to know so many others have the same issue. I’ve on the phone with Citicorp to no avail.

I have the same issue. Began when I upgraded to an iPhone X in June 2018. Just purchased the iPhone XS Max. Same issue with "Could Not Add Card". Additionally, my Apple Watch now gives the same error message. An AMEX card loads with no problems.

Seems like you are not reading the comments here, take sometime and read the whole thread.

There are some users(like me) that confront this issue doesn't matter if we do it through the Citi App or through the Apple Wallet, same error comes. BTW, Citi app don't use a different method than the iOS, so we will have the same issue no matter what until Apple Fix this with Citi.

I was having the same problem. I kept trying to add it via the Apple Wallet app. I was on the phone with a citi rep and he asked me to try to add it via the citi mobile app. voila. it worked. I see that you tried that as well. I'm sorry you're having the issue. Has it been resolved?

I just added my citi card to wallet. It’s done through the Citicard app

Same issue here. My cap one card loads without a hitch but not so with the Citibank Costco card.

To add Citicard to apple wallet, use the Citicard app on your iPhone. Just added mine.

Use the Citicard app to add your card to Apple Pay.

I’ve done that multiple times. In fact, I used the app while on the phone with a Citicorp support representative. She said she couldn’t see my transaction enter from her side.
