Flickr screensaver & photos on Apple TV 4th Gen

Is there any hope that Flickr and Apple will cooperate to get Flickr photos visible on Apple TV 4th Gen?

It worked fine on 3rd Gen Apple TVs (of which I have three!). It is frustrating that I can't find a way to do it on the newer Apple TV.

Is this a function of Apple wanting to squeeze Yahoo / Flickr out and get subscription money for a bigger Photos space? If I upgrade the Photos storage, will the Apple TV pull from Photos for a screensaver?

I like to listen to Pandora, Spotify, etc. and have my photos showing on the TV. I used to could do that ... why can't I still?

You can use the Flickr app on Apple TV (4th generation) to have your photos showing.

You can use the Pandora Music app on Apple TV (4th generation) to listen to music.

You can AirPlay Spotify to Apple TV (4th generation) to listen to music.

You can even start a Flickr slideshow while playing music from another app.

You can even make a Flickr slideshow into a screen saver, which would run while playing music from another app.

The 4rh Gen uses apps, versus preset content from server on the 3rd.

It would be up to Flickr (or any provider) to develop such an app for TVOS. If there are issues or feature requests it is up to them to fix or address that

You can use the photos app for screensaver, only a select portion would be cached regardless of the source.

You must have a different 4th Gen Apple TV than me. I absolutely cannot show my Flickr photos on this 4th gen Apple TV. It will not work as screensaver ... it just does nothing.

If I do a slideshow in the Apple TV Flickr app, it shows 2-3 photos, and then abruptly quits. Everything I see about Flickr and Apple TV 4th gen suggests that Apple and Flickr are not cooperating with each other for some reason.

I know how to AirPlay Spotify. I know how to play Pandora on the 4th Gen Apple TV; it is a dedicated app on that device (I have to AirPlay it from iPhone or iPad for 3rd Gen Apple TVs).

I cannot get a Flickr slideshow to come up at all in 4th Gen Apple TV. How do you do it? It doesn't work on my device.

I cannot get a Flickr slideshow to be a screen saver ... how do you do that? It craps out after 3 photos.

Again, I am wondering if you and I have the same device. My Apple TV 4th Gen is model 1625, run-in tvOS 11.4.1.
