Domain Login - Mac OS

Hi,

My mac is joined to a domain. I can login to the mac successfully in office.

When i go home and switch user and type my domain username and password nothing happens.

I try the same on a windows machine and cached credentials work fine.

Does mac OS support cached credentials like windows?

Please help as how to login at home to the domain profile?

Regards,

Hello, it may be that your problem is not a password cache, you must first verify the account's configuration, since there are two types of accounts:

Network Account - only works connected to your corporate network / does not work offline like windows

Mobile Account-This works locally and stays saved in the home folder of users, this works inside and outside your organization

To solve your conflict, you must activate Mobile Account from the directory utility

You must take the account that the team must be in domain and have the hostname without spaces, so that the active directory can see it.

recommendation before carrying out any process, make a backup

I hope this information is useful to you
