Hi,

Resetting SMC could solve the problem.

Reset SMC on my 2014 Macbook Air did not solve problem. It still won't start even with power cord LED showing green - fully charged. Initially had problem with poor cursor response, so held power-on switch for about 15 seconds to shut it down, hoping a restart would correct the problem. Now no response, no sounds heard - no "Chime" - nothing. Even attempted to reset the SMC......

Any suggestions?
