Mac won’t start but fan noise?

Hi, I used my MacBook Air last night and all way fine. I have tried to use it this morning and there was a fan noise. When I press the power button the screen does not come on. The charger light still comes on when connected. Have tried the shift control option power reboot but no success. Any other suggestions?
