I am not receiving any email on my iPhone or IPad. It says “The mail server IMAP.aol.com is not responding. Verify that you have entered the correct settings...etc.”

If you have recently changed your password, that may be causing your issue. Even if you haven't changed it recently, just try re-entering it in your Mail settings.
