Another way:
In the Health App, pick a category (i.e. - "Activity," "Mindfulness," "Nutrition," or "Sleep")
Pick a sub-category, e.g. - In "Activity Category," pick "Active Energy"
Scroll down and select "Show All Data"
Scroll down and select "Delete All Data"
I’m having the same problem. I delete all the data but it just comes back. Even if I manually backup after I remove the data. is there a solution? This data is a real memory hog.
Thanks to anyone who can help!
My health app data shows almost 6GB. I tried the recommended ways to delete all data of all types of activities. But, the data still takes the same storage space. I've tried many times. Some times I saw the amount of storage space being removed from health but added to System. Then, when I enabled health app, it took back the same storage space. This seems like a defect that needs to be resolved. It is bad to think that you need to buy more storage because of this problem.
My guess is that the "deleted" data was kept in the System temporary storage space like a trash bin (that's part of the System). And, it was unable to release it. An answer or other recommendation is needed from Apple Support or System Developers. How to get the System to clean up this trashed data?
I do delete every category ,every source but nothing happen, memory consume the same, why ???
I have the same issue. I want to delete totally the HEALTH app - it is not useful at all.
