Wireless Keyboard needs new batteries every day

Hello dear community,

the Wireless Keyboard I'm using needs new batteries every day.

I use the same Keyboard model at home, and change the batteries every 2-3 months.

I already restarted PRAM.

Any help is appreciated.

Wireless Keyboard A1314

Mac mini Server (Late 2012)

macOS High Sierra 10.13.6

Swap keyboards and see if the issue follows the keyboard or the Mac.

a stuck key or a periodic defect key micro switch could result in a key activating constantly which would result in the battery having a poor lifespan
