When I press the power button of my Mac Pro 2008, the button light appears for 1 or 2 seconds, then switch off. No sound, no start. Any idea? Tia

Hi Grant Bennet-Adler, first thanks for your fast reply. And yes, its AC power has been interrupted recently as the problem occurred one month ago. So I opened it, cleaned the dust, and when I retried, all was fine. And now, one month later, the problem came back, so I reopened it, cleaned all again, tried with the graphic card of my girlfriend working mac pro. And this time, no success. So I really wonder what could be the cause of such a quick stop ? Many thanks in advance for any tip !!
