I can not receive phone calls on MacBook Pro High Sierra 10.13.6

I can no longer receive calls on my MacBook. Nor do any notifications appear. Is there a fix for this? I'm running High Sierra 10.13.6

Thank you. I've solved the receiving of phone calls OK. However, I no longer have banners pop out when I'm listening to iTunes Internet Radio. Previously, when a new selection began, a banner would pop out and indicate the title and artist. Is this no longer standard procedure in this system? Thank you.

Hello markA9,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. It's my understanding that you're not receiving calls or any notifications on your MacBook Pro. I can surely see how both issues could be concerning. I'm happy to help.

It's possible Do Not Disturb has been enabled on your Mac which can silence incoming calls and notifications. Choose Apple () menu > System Preferences, click Notifications and make sure Do Not Disturb is off.

If you're trying to receive cellular phone calls on your Mac, use the steps in the link below to make sure Continuity has been properly set up:
Use Continuity to connect your Mac, iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Apple Watch

If you're having an issue with FaceTime calls, the steps in the following link can help:

Take a look at the link below for additional steps and information that may help with your notifications:

Let us know the results. Please include any other troubleshooting steps you may have tried.

Have a wonderful day!
