GPS not working on iPhone X

For the past couple days every time I open Waze maps or Pokémon go basically anything that requires a GPS signal I get no GPS signal then 5 10 or 15 minutes into my trip starts working and just as quick stops working I’ve only had this phone for two weeks this is quite annoying as I rely on my maps a lot

Go to Settings > Privacy > Location Services. Then turn it off and back on again.
