My Iphone x is stuck in the Facetime mode and will not hang up so I can ans. or dial out

On an iPhone X: Press and quickly release the Volume Up button. Press and quickly release the Volume Down button. Then, press and hold the Side button until you see the Apple logo.

Over the internet I have found that shutting down iPhone from Settings and restarting

the device might fix the issue.

Since, it is free tip, it’s worth to try.

• On your iPhone go to Settings> Tap General.
• Scroll down and then tap “Shut Down”.

Simply wait for few seconds and then restart your iPhone. Hope this might have fixed your problem.

I have tried the shut down process on my iphonex and it is still stuck on FaceTime I can’t click on any apps it won’t let me make calls/ text and I can’t receive anything. Any suggestions. This all started after the 12 up date was downloaded

I held the top volume button and released, then held the bottom volume button and released, and held the power button until the power off slide came up. It took me three tries to do this. after, if you have ANY updates on your device, it would be best to update your IPhone. After i did that, my phone was fine.

Didn’t work for me, mine just opens Siri. Anyone else have a fix for this? My iPhone X has been stuck for 3 hours now.
