Apple diagnostics error code DEC400

User uploaded fileI have a 13" non-retina 2012 MacBook Pro and I was trying to run Apple Hardware Test, however when started it up and selected the language it displayed "error code DEC400". And that it couldn't run Apple Diagnostics. Any help please would be much appreciated. Also I thought previously that Macs before 2013 ran Apple Hardware Test not diagnostics??

Thanks

Yes your 2012 should have the AHT. Did you restart holding the D key, for on your Mac AHT ?

That error code is a general failure code of no value.

If you have internet connection try holding the option key + the D key on reboot— to connect with Apple servers.
