I cannot seem to create new tracks nor do I have access to the default Logic Plug-ins. It looks like it might have something to do with Logic not recognizing any inputs but I'm not sure.
MacBook Pro, iOS 10.1.1
I reset the key commands and rebooted my computer but I still can't seem to toggle audio input/output devices or access the standard plugins. Is it possible that this is related to my laptop not recognizing the default output as well?
Are you familiar with Logic's preferences?
Go to Logic's Preferences audio, is "Core Audio" enabled? (checked) enable it.
If Core Audio IS enabled, disable it, then re-enable.
For whatever reason Logic has lost connection with Core Audio, you may have to reset your Input and Output devices in Logic's preferences. Always use Logic's preferences to set things up.
Unfortunately the plugins still aren't showing and I can't seem to add new tracks despite toggling the core audio. I wonder if it's an issue with my computer not recognizing existing inputs? I am also unable to select my laptops existing speakers an output.
Go to the upper left "Logic Pro X" menu, select Preferences, select "Reset All except key commands", quit Logic, reboot the computer ant try to use Logic's Preferences/Audio to set Input and Output devices. Click hold to see available selections.
