Hello again Old Toad ~ 'n Thanks for your response. I've had a look at the App but it appears to be used primarily with an iPhone. I am working on a iMac and I have the current version of Pages installed.
Before I try out your suggestion I thought I'd give some detail to my work flow just incase you can spot an obvious error so… My finial work flow is as follows…
After using Affinity Photo & completing post production. I prepare the image for printing within Affinity Photo ⇢⇢ I set New Document Type to Photo ⇢⇢ I set Page Preset to 12" x 10" or 15" x 10" or 14" x 11" ⇢⇢ I set DPI to 300 ⇢⇢ Then press OK ⇢⇢ ⇢⇢
Next ⇢⇢ I go to File > press Print > > > An Apple (Pages) Print Dialogue box appears on screen. ⇢⇢ ⇢⇢ Within the Print Dialogue box…
The Paper Size box automatically shows as A4 with 210 by 297 printed outside to the right of the box.
When I click on the Down Arrow (within the A4 box) I'm given a whole host of choices, two of which are A3 & A3 + ⇢⇢ If I place the curser over A3 ⇢⇢ I have 3 options.
1st; - A3 (Art Paper Margin 35)
2nd; - A3
3rd; - A3 Borderless.
Further down the Print Dialogue Box are a further 3 x options plus a % box.
The three options are
- Actual size - the % box is Greyed out but reads 100%
- Scale to fit - the % box is Greyed out but reads 117%
- Scale - the % box is Black & reads 117%
I have Previously opted for A3 (Art Paper Margin 35) and had success but for some unknown reason each time I press Print the images no longer fit on the paper correctly or even if they are on the paper, they are the incorrect size and usually one edge of the print is too close to the edge that it will be impossible for me to mount it in a frame ready for competitions at the local camera club. Hence the need to sort out the problem.
I hope this has covered everything ~ Thanks again for your attention & help to date.
